Humongous masala dosa
Sagar, a vegetarian South Indian restaurant off Tottenham Court Road, serves cheap and cheerful food with amazing masala dosas! The size definitely has novelty factor.
There’s a great menu offering southern Indian dishes such as idli (lentil dumplings), vada (doughnuts), uthappams (lentil pizza) and thali platters but masala dosas are the speciality with over ten types to choose from.
Lardbutty ‘masala dosa of the century’
We fell into this restaurant as it was raining very heavily last night and we wanted to eat as close to the pub we were drinking in (on Charlotte Street) as possible. While it was an accidental find, I’d like to go back to try one of the lentil pizzas. I’ve a feeling it may be a handy resting point after a shopping spree on Oxford Street another day…
