**SADLY, THIS RESTAURANT HAS SINCE CLOSED**
Out of the Blue Bar on trendy St John’s Hill, near Clapham Junction is a bright, open and stylish bar and restaurant with chunky wooden tables and chairs in the main bar area and softer furnishings and red walls in the rear dining area.
Serving beers from all over the world (including Brooklyn Lager from the US, Windhoek from Namibia, Tusker from Nairobi and Cusquena from the Andes) and a wide assortment of food plates (from international tapas-style sharing dishes, to burger boards, curries and Brazilian BBQ dishes), Out of the Blue Bar genuinely welcomes Tastecard. Do check their website for other promotions, menu prix fixé, and events as there’s usually something on.
We went this evening, a Monday evening, and it was nicely busy with a good atmosphere. We both had an 8oz British beef burger served with shoestring fries and a couple of interesting world beers.

8oz British beef burger with mushroom + avocado – regular price is £9.95
Considering the premium quality of the beef burger, the menu is reasonably priced anyway but with a 2-for-1 Tastecard discount, this was exceptional value. Excluding tip, but taking the Tastecard discount into account, our meal for two came to £28.00 total. Bargainous.
