Ciro’s Pomodoro

Ciro’s Pomodoro was recommended to me some time last year, and I finally gave it a whirl last night. It’s an intimate, basement restaurant – very small and cosy – and very well air-conditioned (very pleasing given the current heat-wave).

Absolutely Starving

A popular deli alongside Hays Galeria, Absolutely Starving pulls the punters in with its amusing name, and – I suspect – keeps them returning by serving quality food with a rotating hot food menu. Fresh sandwiches are made to order on a range of breads; Italian pastas and produce are for sale, as are packet snacks and a range of wines.
