Sree Krishna – top South Indian restaurant in Tooting

I love Sree Krishna and that’s all there is to it.

A few years ago – when I lived nearby – I was a regular diner and take-away customer, and was always impressed with their special South Indian food (including Keralan, Karaikkudi and Chettinadu regional specialities). I was well over-due a visit.

Award-winning Sree Krishna claims to be the oldest South Indian restaurant in South London, and is situated a two-minute walk from Tooting Broadway tube station.

Fabulous paper dosai starter @ £3.90

There’s a lot of competition for good Indian restaurants in Tooting and Sree Krishna stands out. The restaurant’s really clean and smart, with very professional staff. While food is top quality, it’s not expensive.
